Knitting a hat doesn’t mean that you have to use double pointed needles. This pattern calls for 16” circular needles and approximately 140 yards of heavy worsted/bulky weight yarn.. Upon decreasing. you may have to use the Magic Loop Method. If you are unfamiliar with this technique or any of the stitches used, I encourage you to YouTube them. You’ll find that they are very simple techniques and stitches that you will be great to have in your knitting repertoire.
