This is an awesome quick knit football helmet that will keep you warm while tailgating or watching your favorite team play. It can be customized to accomodate your specific team colors.

Sizes – average adult head (XLarge adult head)

Skills required: SSK, K2TOG, M1, I-Cord and Single Crochet. Also, if adding color change in helmet, intarsia, or duplicate st skills.

Supplies: 2 balls of Hometown USA yarn (or super bulky yarn)- one in main color, one in white for chin strap, or additional may be required if adding color stripes / images.
2 - ¾” buttons - color does not matter, buttons will be on inside of hat

Needles - #15 16” circular needle, #15 DPN, #9 DPN or circular, size N crochet hook, Markers, measuring tape. White thread and a sewing needle.

Note- pattern uses less than 1 ball of yarn MC, if you’re like me, your entire football family will be requesting these, so make sure same dye lot!

Gauge: 10 stitches = 5 inches
