This pattern is made almost entirely of knit and purl stitches. There is one block which requires the use of a cable needle, (unless you know how to knit behind stitches). The different sampler blocks are separated by rows and columns of garter stitch.

You will also need to be able to read charted patterns, since I have not written out the rows for any of the blocks.

The pattern is ready to download and contains the complete instructions, including a link to a website with directions for blocking knit-purl pattern in order to improve the contrast of the raised stitches and highlight the patterns. You can begin knitting immediately:

You will need:

Size 7 circular needles - 36 inches long

8 balls of Debbie Bliss Eco Fair Trade yarn in the color of your choice.

cable needle

A darning needle and scissors to finish
