These socks are knit one at a time from the top
down. They are designed with a slightly longer
height on the leg section, for a more standard
sock length, simply reduce the number of lace
pattern repeats by one repeat. If you prefer to do
an afterthought heel rather than a traditional flap
heel, this pattern will work well with an
afterthought heel adaptation. Though they were
designed with double-pointed needles, the
pattern would also work well with magic loop or
another method using circular needles.
