All in one knitted ‘Dad’ Doll.

This doll was an attempt to create a doll without any piecing together or complicated techniques. Perfect for beginners and experienced knitters this doll will I hope provide a fun way to knit a custom doll for you kids/ partner or for yourself.

If you can Knit, Purl, Increase and decrease you too can make your own ‘Dad’ doll.

I’ve called this doll body shape ‘Dad’ as it’s angular, gangly and doesn’t have sculpted abs, a perfect bum or chiselled jaw. It’s just a normal ‘bloke’ shape. I thought this would make a perfect base for customising into the ‘dad’ or character of your choice!

I used 1 ball of Stylecraft special DK (100g) to make 2 dolls and I would say there was plenty left for a third so this pattern really isn’t yarn heavy.

The instructions for the doll only include the knitted doll pattern, not any of the customisation ie hair pattern, clothes etc. If there is a demand for these let me know and I’ll see about digitalising my patterns.
