Vests are perfect for transitioning our wardrobes from summer to autumn. Worn atop almost everything, it’s a trend that’s as cosy and comfortable as it is chic. The Knotted Cable Vest pattern is great for a beginner knitter because the Back is knitted first in simple stockinette stitch, with no armhole shaping. The Front then introduces a Knotted Cable technique, which doesn’t require a cable needle, so is achievable for a beginner/intermediate knitter as a first cable project. The vest is knitted using 6.00mm (US 10) needle throughout, using basic stitches and minimal shaping at neckline. Featuring a simple classic look, Knotted Cable Vest never will be out of trend.

SKILL LEVEL: Beginner / Intermediate. Sts used: CO, BO, k, p, k2tog, p2tog.
