This ethnographic mitten from the Southern Kurzeme Region of Perkone uses six colors. The cuff begins with a series of half braids and purl rows that are followed by a band knit with one, two and three colors at a time. The upper mitten uses three and four colors contemporaneously.

Perkone is located just south of Liepaja, Latvia near the Baltic Sea.
