Kuusi socks are fine socks with lace trees (kuusi = „spruce“ in Finnish) knitted from toe up to decorative cuff. Socks have a good fit with a gusset and the heel is worked with short rows.

2 sizes: size 1 is ideal for the circumfence 20 – 21 cm, size 2 is ideal for the circumfence 23 – 24 cm. Foot and leg length is optional.

Gauge: 30 sts / 10 cm in stockinette stitch, 44 rounds /10 cm

Needles: the socks are worked on circular needles: 2,5 mm needles for the main part of the sock (choose the needle size that gets you closer to the gauge or the size you want.), 2,25 mm needles (or smaller needles) for the cuff.

Yarn: any fingering weight or 4ply sock yarn, app. 250-280 m

Notions: stitch markers, sewing needle for weaving in ends, sock blockers if you wish
