La Tulipe Summer

The La Tulipe Summer Tee is an airy sweater with top-down construction and lacy raglan lines. It showcases a beautiful wave-shaped lace pattern, lace edging on the neckband, and an opening in the back. Add a pretty vintage button of your choice on the back opening to finish off the feminine silhouette. It is made of 100% light cashmere. Sleeve length can be modified to be a ¾ or full length for the longer-sleeved versions.

This design is worked in a top-down construction.
The back is open by approximately 15 cm, and stitches are increased along the raglan lines to shape and separate the armholes.

The La Tulipe Tee features a pattern that continues on the purl side, so I recommend knitting the La Tulipe Sweater first. It’s worked in a round yoke construction with the pattern created only on the knit side, making it feel much easier to knit.

NEEDLES
2.5mm, 3.0mm, and 3.5mm circular needles of various lengths or DPNs,
or needles to get the correct gauge

GAUGE
27.5 st x 32 rows = 10 x 10 cm on 3.5mm wood needle in lace motif pattern

Prepare a 31st x 28 rows gauge swatch (chart below) by casting on 31 sts with a 3.5mm needle to check your gauge and practice the repeat motif.

This pattern includes QR codes linking to tutorial videos on making a swatch and finishing the lace edging.
