Eppendorf tubes and Falcon tubes are a staple in any lab: very useful to store or centrifuge your samples, where the conical bottom actually helps to collect your cells. The names may be a bit unusual, but come from the companies that made them famous, like Post-It notes! Surely they will be an amazing gift for any cell biologist in your life!

The PDF includes step-by-step written instructions, visual references and photo-tutorials to help you, and it is available in English and Spanish.

Sewing needed: None. The eyes are embroidered using French knots, but can be substituted with safety eyes.

Level: beginner-intermediate.
You need to be familiar with the basic stitches used in amigurumi (chains, slip stitch, single crochet (US)/double crochet (UK), half double crochet (US)/half treble crochet (UK), double crochet (US)/treble crochet (UK), increases, invisible decreases, and work in the front loop, back loop and third loop), and joining two pieces together with slip stitch crochet. There are photo-tutorials to learn how to do invisible decreases and working in the front, back and third loops with both right- and left-handed versions, if you need them.

Yarn and hooks: You can use any yarn weight you prefer; you only have to choose a suitable hook so you can crochet tight enough for the stuffing not to show.
