The Labor Day Baby Blanket is a completely reversible baby blanket, for knitters who enjoy simple knits and purls, with impressive results!

Finished size is 26” x 34”.

This reversible baby blanket combines horizontal panels of textured stitch patterns, with garter stitch edges framing each section.
The garter stitch edges are knit along with the blanket, so there is no finishing required (other than weaving in your ends, and blocking).

Pattern includes clearly written instructions for this completely reversible baby blanket.

Materials include 660 yds worsted weight yarn, and size 8 circular needles (24-32” length).
Sample was knit with Berroco Ultra Wool, color 3325/Delicata.

Recommended gauge is 4.5 stitches = 1” in stockinette stitch.
Although the blanket is knit in reversible textured stitches, gauge is provided in stockinette stitch, for ease in determining appropriate sized needles.
Change needle size as necessary, to achieve correct gauge and/or a fabric that you like. Since this is a blanket, exact gauge is not critical. It will, however, affect the finished size and amount of yarn used.

Sample was knit using 3 skeins of Berroco Ultra Wool, in color 3325/Delicata.

Skills required include casting on, knitting, purling, increasing, decreasing and binding off.

Blanket is knit flat in one piece, and is worked on a circular needle to accommodate the width of the blanket.
Enjoy knitting this pattern, and please post photos of your finished blankets!
