Lace Beanie
This pattern is for a lace beanie with ribbed edge, knit in the round from the bottom up. With a loose and open fabric, it’s perfect for spring or fall days when it’s chilly but not truly cold. The finished hat should measure approximately 18 inches around the bottom edge, and 11 inches from edge to top center, not factoring in stretch.
Materials and Tools Used:
• 5 size 10 DPNs,
• around 95 yards of 12 wpi yarn – I’ve used Lily brand Sugar ’n Cream yarn here, but anything of similar diameter and density should work just fine.
• 4 stitch markers to separate lace sections/crown reduction sections (optional)
• row counter (optional)
• darning needle to weave in ends
Gauge:
4x4 inches = 17 stitches x 20 rows
