This pattern is available from ko-fi.com for $5.00.

This pattern is for a large lace half-circle shawl, approximately 66 inches wide across the top and 27 inches from center top to center bottom. It’s big enough to wrap up in, but loose and open enough to be very breathable. Perfect for chilly evenings! If you want yours a little more on the cozy side, consider using wool rather than cotton. I suspect a silk/wool blend would result in a luxuriously drapey and comfortable shawl as well. Get creative with it!

Materials and Tools Used:
• size 7 circular needle, at least 40 inches long. You may be able to use a shorter one, if you don’t mind the stitches being very bunched up on the needles by the last 2 stripes.
• Around 705 yards/260 grams of 21 WPI cotton yarn or crochet thread – approximately 20 yards in red, 60 yards in orange, 90 yards in yellow, 125 yards in green, 185 yards in blue, and 225 yards in purple I’ve used Paintbox Yarns’ Cotton DK here, and needed one 137 yard skein each of red, yellow, orange, and green, and two each of blue and purple. But anything with a similar WPI should work, though it may result in slightly different finished measurements.
• stitch markers -- at least 2, but you may wish to use more depending on your habits
• row counter (optional but recommended)
• darning needle to weave in ends
