This was unikatissima’s Lace knitter’s Advent Calendar 2015, and the shawl will also look amazing in spring, summer and autumn :)
You can find the KAL in my ravelry group unikatissima in the thread Lace Knitter’s Advent Calendar 2015 and you can always ask questions there.

The instructions:
If you want to knit the shawl as Advent calendar at some point, you can get the daily instructions in my blog (English).
There you can also get a complete pattern file with the single medaillons for you to combine to your own liking.

I have uploaded now all pattern files to ravelry. The English daily pattern files are named unikatissima_lace_ilex_e_dd, where dd is the day.
Then there is a file unikatissima_lace_ilex_e containing the single medaillons for you to combine – enjoy! :)

This year you can knit on the 24 days of Advent a scarf shawl that is symmetrically patterned in length and width.
If you look carefully you can see that the medaillons have different patterned center patterns that I arranged symmetrically.
The shawl has a zigzag seed stitch border around the whole shawl and a narrow pattern repeat which allows you to knit it as narrow (= scarf) or wide (= shawl) as you like.
You will also be able to adapt the length because there will be a lengthening pattern in the middle to lengthen the shawl should you need to.
And as always: shouldn’t you need a shawl simply make a tablerunner :)

About the pattern:

The shawl has this year
* a zigzag seed stitch border around the whole shawl (but you only knit in one direction and don’t have to pick-up stitches anywhere) which easily can be blocked to points,
* a 12 stitch pattern repeat to allow you to knit the shawl as wide as you like and
* a lengthening pattern that you can insert in the middle of the shawl several times to adapt the length of the shawl to your liking.
The shawl looks best if you knit the lengthening pattern at least once.

The pattern is
* a multiple of 12 pattern sts + 21 start/end sts + 2 edge sts (sts = stitches),
* the total length with one lengthening pattern are 422 rows and
* the lengthening pattern has 24 rows and will be inserted on day 12.

If you want to make the shawl
* wider/narrower simply change the number of repeats;
* shorter,
  – use a smaller needle size and/or
  – finer yarn and/or
  – knit tighter;
* longer
  – knit more than one lengthening pattern on day 12,
  – use a larger needle and/or
  – thicker yarn and/or
  – knit more loose.

About the finished item:

Please don’t forget: the size always depends on your gauge and your way to knit –
I always knit rather loosely.

This year I only managed to knit one scarf shawl.

For the red scarf shawl I
* knitted 2 repeats and
* one lengthening pattern with
* about 250 m/274 yds red DROPS Lace (100 g ca. 800 m/875 yds) with
* 3 mm needles and
* got a scarf shawl of about 18 x 118 cm/7″ x 46″.

I knitted the respective daily pattern parts in about 30 min.

To tell the truth I surely won’t use this delicate and wonderfully soft scarf from 70% alpaca and 30% silk lace yarn as tablerunner but I may knit it again in cotton :)

There was a little error in the pattern. It is already corrected and today I’ve uploaded the corrected versions of the files of day 23 and the complete pattern to the blog.

Das war unikatissimas Loch-Strickmuster Adventskalender 2015 und das Tuch wird auch im Frühling, Sommer und Herbst wunderschön aussehen :)
Du kannst den KAL in meiner ravelry Gruppe unikatissima in der Diskussion Lace Knitter’s Advent Calendar 2015 finden und dort auch immer Fragen stellen.

Die Anleitungen:
Wenn Du das Schaltuch irgendwann als Adventskalender stricken möchtest, kannst Du die täglichen Anleitungen in meinem Blog (deutsch) bekommen.
Dort erhälst ausserdem eine Gesamtdatei mit den Einzelmedaillons zum Selbstzusammenstellen nach Deinem Geschmack.

Ich habe jetzt alle Anleitungen bei ravelry hochgeladen. Die deutschen Anleitungsdateien heißen unikatissima_lace_ilex_d_dd, wobei dd der Tag ist.
Dann gibt es die Datei unikatissima_lace_ilex_d, die die Einzelmedaillons zum Selbst­zusammen­stellen enthält – viel Spass damit! :)

Bitte beachte, dass Du meinen Nutzungs­bedingungen zustimmst, wenn Du meine Muster strickst. Du findest sie auf der jeweils letzten Seite jeder Datei.

Dieses Jahr kannst Du an den 24 Tagen des Advents ein Schaltuch stricken, das in Länge und Breite symmetrisch gemustert ist.
Wenn Du genau hinsiehst, erkennst Du dass die Medaillons verschieden gemusterte Mittelmuster haben, die ich Dir symmetrisch angeordnet habe.
Das Tuch hat einen Zickzack-Perlmusterand um das ganze Tuch herum und einen schmalen Mustersatz der Dir erlaubt, es so schmal (= Schal) oder breit (= Tuch) zu stricken, wie Du magst.
Du wirst auch die Länge anpassen können, denn es gibt in der Mitte ein Verlängerungsmuster mit dem Du bei Bedarf das Tuch verlängern kannst.
Und es gilt immer noch: solltest Du kein Tuch brauchen, mach‘ einfach einen Tischläufer draus :)

Über das Muster:

Dieses Jahr hat das Tuch
* einen Zickzack-Perlmusterand um das ganze Tuch herum (Du strickst aber nur in einer Richtung und brauchst nirgendwo Maschen aufnehmen), der sich einfach gleichmäßig zu Zacken spannen lässt,
* einen 12-Maschen-Mustersatz, der es Dir erlaubt, das Tuch so breit, wie Du willst zu stricken und
* ein Verlängerungsmuster, das Du mehrfach in der Mitte des Tuches einfügen kannst, um die Länge des Tuches nach Deinem Geschmack anzupassen.
Das Tuch sieht am schönsten aus, wenn Du das Verlängerungsmuster mindestens einmal strickst.

Das Muster ist
* ein Vielfaches von 12 MusterM + 21 Beginn-/EndM + 2 RandM (M = Maschen),
* die Gesamtlänge sind mit einem Verlängerungsmuster 422 Reihen und
* das Verlängerungsmuster hat 24 Reihen und wird am Tag 12 eingefügt.

Wenn Du es
* breiter/schmaler machen möchtest, ändere einfach die Anzahl Mustersätze;
* kürzer machen möchtest,
  – verwende eine kleinere Nadelstärke und/oder
  – feineres Garn und/oder
  – stricke fester;
* länger machen möchtest,
  – stricke mehrere Verlängerungsmuster am Tag 12,
  – verwende eine größere Nadelstärke und/oder
  – dickeres Garn und/oder
  – stricke lockerer.

Über das fertige Stück:

Bitte vergiss’ nicht: die Größe hängt immer von Deiner Maschenprobe und Deiner Art zu stricken ab – ich stricke immer sehr lose.

Dieses Jahr habe ich nur ein Schaltuch zu stricken geschafft.

Bei meinem roten Schaltuch habe ich
* 2 Mustersätze und
* ein Verlängerungsmuster mit
* ungefähr 250 m roter DROPS Lace (100 g ca. 800 m) mit
* 3 mm Nadeln verstrickt und
* bekam ein Schaltuch von ungefähr 18 x 118 cm.

Den jeweiligen täglichen Musterabschnitt habe ich in etwa 30 Min gestrickt.

Um ehrlich zu sein, diesen zarten und wunderbar weichen Schal aus 70% Alpaka und 30% Seide-Lacegarn werde ich sicherlich nicht als Tischläufer verwenden,
aber vielleicht stricke ich ihn noch einmal mit Baumwolle :)

Im Muster gab es einen kleinen Fehler. Er ist schon korrigiert und heute habe ich die korrigierten Versionen der Dateien von Tag 23 und des Gesamtmusters im Blog hochgeladen.
