Lace Trim Knit Skirt
There is nothing more delicate and girly than lace. I love using lace in designs and this one is a quick an fun project for a little girl.
Supplies
Knitting Needles:
10 1/2 (US) / 6.5 mm Straight Needles or Circular Needles for Magic Loop (US 10 1/2)
1.5 mm Crochet Hook
Stitch Marker
Row Counter
Sewing Needle
Scissors
Mesh Lace Ribbon that’s 18 inches long, 3-4 inches wide- It’s important to use the mesh lace so your crochet hook can work through the small holes to attach the yarn to the trim.
Yarn:
Knit Pick Palette (shown in Ice Lily)
OR any fingering yarn.
Abbreviations / Stitches
BO- bind off
k- knit
p- purl
yo- yarn over
kf&b- Knit front and back of stitch
Gauge:
15 stitches x 20 rows= 4 inches x 4 inches
Skill Level
Easy
Yardage: approx. 150
Measurements laid flat, not including ribbon: 7 inches by 18 inches
