Cosy but feminine, the Lace Cowl Tunic is gently tailored to flatter your curves. The lace stitch on the cowl keeps the fabric light, elastic and drapey, so you can wear the cowl on one side, hanging to the front or even dropped down over both shoulders.

Knit from the bottom up with picot edging on cuffs and hem. If you prefer a plain hemline, just substitute the picot edge instructions with 4 rows of garter stitch.

Waist shaping is worked on the edges of front and back and can be easily omitted for a straight tunic.

The lacy collar is knit on progressively larger circular needles to preserve the lace pattern and give a nice widening cowl neck.

I bought this sparkly cashmere yarn on Ebay and had to wait 6 weeks for it to arrive from China but it is so soft and fabulous, it was well worth the wait! Please note that yarn requirements are estimates only.
