This pattern was published in an old book of mine from 2009. The directions are written in the style of the time (so please be understanding). I had a recent request for it from a very kind Raveler so here it is.
It was photographed in a favorite garden of mine at the University of Virginia where my husband worked, my daughter and son-in-law went, and I knit.
I had booked the photoshoot with the wonderful photographer Jim Carpenter and had 3 great models ready to go. The big problem was the temperature. It had snowed the night before and was frigid! Rescheduling was doable, but we discussed it and decided to move quickly, bundling between shots. (In fairness to the models and photographer, I had my pic for the book done last. It’s terrible and reminds me of the miserable time everyone had for the product we produced. I am still grateful.)

The lacy leaf design strategically opens while wearing this around the shoulders. The repeating wave design below undulates with movement, creating the appearance of a gentle wind through soft leaves.
