The Lakemoor Vest is relatively simple project with a big impact. The vest is made from sock or fingering weight yarn. It is a fun way of using that beautiful, wild yarn you could not resist but wouldn’t use for socks.

This modular vest is worked in entirely in garter stitch. The only seams are at the shoulders; all other connections are picked up and knit from other pieces. There is a schematic diagram that shows the direction of the stripes on the separate pieces.

The pattern includes five sizes fitting busts of 29, 33, 37, 41, and 45 inches with one inch of ease.

Approximately 450 (500, 550, 600, 650) yards of EACH of two sock or fingering weight yarns; one solid, one multi-colored.
