This blanket is the one used in the patent application for Virginia Woods Bellamy. Her method of modular garter stitch knitting was in fact patented, and she wrote about her technique in the book, “Number Knitting.” This fantastic book is out of print, but you can check out a copy from your local library, through an interlibrary loan.
