August 2020: gauge should read 19 stitches = 4”

Lots of squishy garter stitch and bold chevrons make the LaMott Wrap a relaxing and engaging knit. Worked section-by-section, the project builds on itself to create a warm and cozy wrap.

The center panel is worked first, then each side panel is picked up and worked in stripes; the top and bottom end panels are picked up and worked last.

The finished measurements are 20” x 72” (approximate measurements taken after blocking).

You will need the following supplies:
YARN
Sport weight: approx. 600 yards each of Colors A and B, and approx. 200 yards of Color C.
Sample shown in Highland Sport by Cloudborn Fibers, 100% Fine Highland Wool in Navy (Color A), Oatmeal Heather (Color B), and Coral (Color C).

NEEDLES
US size 7 (4.5mm) needles, or size needed to obtain gauge.
US size 7 (4.5mm) 40” circular needle for picking up side panels.
NOTIONS
