These cozy mitts are like turtlenecks for your hands! Roll them up for brisk Stars Hollow mornings, roll them down when you’re ready for drum practice. ;)

These fun mitts also knit up quick, and the slipped stitch pattern is great for those random variegated skeins in your stash!

Suggested Yarn:
A worsted weight wool yarn, such as:
madelinetosh Tosh Vintage
(100% Merino wool, 200 yds/183 m)
Malabrigo Rios (100% Merino wool, 210 yds/192 m)

Suggested Needles:
US 5/3.75 mm double-pointed needles
US 6/4 mm double-pointed needles

Notions:
Removable stitch markers, yarn needle, waste yarn

Finished Measurements:
Hand Circumference: 6.5 in/16.5 cm; unstretched Length: 10 in/25.4 cm

These mitts have a good amount of stretch (about 2 in/5 cm), and will fit an average-sized woman’s hand. However, they are easily adjustable; and I have included notes on how to customize them, if necessary. :)

Skill Level: Adventurous beginner, ready for learning how to work a thumb gusset.
