Crafty Intentions CROCHET PATTERN Large Castle Playset pattern (printable PDF-file / 135 pages)

Developed by Megan Lapp aka Crafty Intentions, this pattern is for a Large Castle Playset! This pattern is written in U.S. terminology.

This pattern comes with instructions to make a Large Castle Playset!! You can make a Wall, a Turret Wall, a Wall with an opening for a door or drawbridge, a drawbridge, a Single Door, a Double Door, optional Crenellation, Three different styles of Turret Toppers/roofs, Two different styles of Stained-Glass Windows, Wall Banners, and Roof Banner Toppers. This is meant to be a playset, so you can choose to attach hooks and eyes or buttons to make the playset usable. You can attach the walls to each other or to turret towers (inside the turret tower, you can use 2 liter soda bottles or similar (Coffee Cans, protein containers, etc) filled with water for stability to support the towers. This pattern features clear step by step instruction with a lot of row-by-row photos. The gauge is not crucial to the pattern as long as the stitches are tight enough to hold stuffing.

This pattern is a total of 135 pages containing a full set of written instructions with photographic illustrations, and there are video tutorials for particular steps and stitches available on my YouTube channel. This Pattern consists of ONE PDF File, and the last 35 pages include 32 pages of Text-Only, Printer-Friendly instructions and 3 pages of the EU Safety and Compliance Document, but I strongly recommend you still refer to the photographic illustrations throughout the pattern if you have any questions.

A Castle Playset from this pattern has turret towers with Roofs that are

approximately 20 inches tall (including the tallest roof topper) and 6 inches wide when closed around something like a 2 liter soda bottle. A Castle wall is approximately 10.5 inches tall and 16 inches wide. A Castle wall doorway is approximately 5 inches wide, and 7 inches tall.

(4.2cm tall including the ring, it is 3.4 cm tall not including the ring).

TO CREATE A CASTLE SMILIAR IN SIZE TO THOSE IN THE PHOTOS, YOU MUST FOLLOW GAUGE. It is recommended you work up a swatch with your chosen yarn and adjust your hook as needed to meet gauge.

6 Stitches across is approximately 1.5 inches wide for a Wall

3 Rows is approximately 1 inch tall.
