NOT FOR BEGINNERS. Unless you want a challenge.

Materials
• Size F crochet hook
• Worsted weight yarn in white, dark brown (dark charcoal, medium brown), black, green, pink, gray (or a light brown)
o A lot of white is used – you’re going to want at least 9-10oz, which is a normal skein and some extra with most yarn brands
• Yarn needle
• Stitch marker
• Stuffing material
• Wire for poseable tail (optional)
o Wiring your tail makes it less child-friendly as wires can be pokey. If you want a snuggly plush just make the tail as is and stuff normally OR you can mail the tail straight and floppy – do what you want!
• Needle-felting material (optional)
o Felted eyes are all the rage these days, feel free to use this technique if you’d like!

Skills Needed/Abbreviations
• Ch: chain
• Sl: slip stitch
• Sc: single crochet
• Blo: back loop only
• Inc: increase
• Dec: decrease
• St/sts: stitch/stitches
• Rnd/rnds: round/rounds
• Short rows in the rnd (optional for if you don’t want to wire the tail but want curves in it)
o This technique will be walked through, but there are tutorial videos online as well if you’re unfamiliar with the technique. If you want to change up where the curves in the tail are, feel free to do so.
• Sewing skills: running stitch, whip stitch
• Yarn brushing (optional for if you want to make Momo’s ear fluff fuzzy)

Gauge: 4 sc/inch

Finished Momo is BIG, almost to scale, he measures approximately 2’ in height from the tip of the ear to the bottom of the foot. It also has a 23” gently curved tail
