A new addition to the much-loved Laura collection, the cardigan is an easy to wear, easy to love garment.
A pretty straight-forward top down construction, made better by the use of short rows and a myriad of details to add interest to your knitting.

This is a very easy knit and therefore it is suitable for beginners. However, it is important to emphasize that what you are holding in your hands now is a pattern, and not a tutorial. These instruc tions are written assuming that you are already familiar with the terminology and conventional
format of a knitting pattern.

SIZES
To fit a bust circumference of: Finished bust measurements: 88.5 (94, 98.75, 102.5) (104, 110, 115) (134, 140, 145) cm
Finished bust measurements: 87.5 (92.5, 98.75, 106.25) (111.25, 118.75, 123.75 )(128.75, 147.5, 153.75) cm / 35 (37, 39.5, 42.5) (44.5, 47.5. 49.5) (51.5, 59, 61.5)”

Yarn
Camarose Snefnug
(55% baby alpaca, 35% cotton, 10% merino)
110 m /50 g
720 (850, 970, 1050)(1125, 1200, 1270) (1300, 1400, 1500) m /
792 (935, 1067, 1155) (1237.5. 1320, 1397) (1430, 1540. 1650) yds.

This cardigan is worked in a very lightweight and soft aran-weight yarn. If substituting, try to find a similarly ‘brushed’ or ‘blown’ yarn.
Sample is knit in size 1 with 5 cm (2”) of positive ease in colorway: Jeansbla.

Needles
6 mm / US10 circular needle, cable length of at least 80 cm / 32” for the body (or needle size to obtain gauge) and a shorter cable for sleeves (or dpns)
5.5 mm / US9 circular needle, cable length 80 cm / 32” for the ribbing (or one size smaller than gauge-size needle) and a shorter cable for sleeves (or dpns).

Gauge
16 sts x 19 rows = 10 x 10 cm / 4 x 4” on larger needle in stockinette stitch after blocking.

To get the perfect fit, it is imperative that you achieve gauge. However, if you can achieve the number of stitches but not the number of rows, this is your lucky day! This pattern provides measurements to be worked at length.
