Laura's Learning To Knit Shawl
Laura’s got the knitting bug! Now she wants a shawl. Admittedly, shawls can sometimes be intimidating to knit for beginning knitters - different shapes, sizes, colors, techniques. This shawl is perfect for learning a basic design with just enough flair to be fancy!
Great for beginning knitters, or any knitter wanting a fun and fast project!
Knit as a triangular (symmetrical) shape, with a slipped braided edge, layered eyelet border, and optional fringe. The pattern teaches each skill.
Recommended Yarn: Malabrigo Rios, 100% Merino, Worsted weight (3 skeins + 1 contrast color)
Needles: Size US 8 (5.0mm) with 40” cord
Happy Knitting!
SISU: A Finnish word - Determination, Purpose, Strength, Courage, & Resilience. You’ve got this knit.
