This stunning cowl will add a touch of elegance to any wardrobe. It is double-knitted flat and then grafted together. Detailed instructions are included on how to graft in-pattern to make for an invisible join. Because the cowl is double-knitted, it is completely reversible. So you really get two cowls in one. My favorite part: it’s color work with no pesky floats. It’s like magic.

The simple design means that the finished sized is highly customizable. Knitted according to the pattern, the cowl uses approximately 50g of each color. However, this cowl can be made as wide or narrow and long or short as desired. The offset of the leafy vine allows for the knitter to easily adjust the width of the cowl simply by adding or subtracting stitches on the opposite edge. The length is also highly customizable. Simply work fewer/more repeats of the pattern for a shorter/longer cowl.

The pattern includes both written and charted instructions for the leafy portion of the design.

Come along with me in climbing this “beanstalk” and I promise you will have a cowl that any plant lover would adore.
