A two-tone granny square throw blanket! Soft chunky yarn means you can work this up in just a few days. Size is up to you - as written, you can make a lap throw that about 3x4 feet. Get a couple extra skeins to make a large blanket, or make a slightly smaller baby blanket with just 2 skeins (3rd skein is only needed to complete the border).

Granny squares measure about 10” square, OR use any size yarn and needle to make your own two-tone triangle granny blanket. You could use leftovers and make each triangle a different color for a super fun blanket!

Use a join as you go method to avoid sewing the squares together. Tutorial can be found here: https://attic24.typepad.com/weblog/joining-asyougo-sqaure

Additional notes: The yarn I used was Premier Serenity Chunky (which is similar to Premier Puzzle). Very soft and bulky, solid color. 100% acrylic. Purchased at walmart but could not seem to find it to add it to the pattern.
