This pattern has been written with beginners in mind. You knit the sock cuff down. Some techniques include stranded colourwork, german short rows and kitchener stitch. You will not use more than 3 strands of yarn at once for the colourwork sections. German Sjort Row heels are best suited for people with small insteps. An alternative to this technique would be a gusset hell however this may disrupt the bud pattern and therefore is not included in this pattern.

There is 1 size for casting on sts and working the colourwork on both the leg and foot, however the foot length is adjustable and explained in the written pattern.

I used Paintbox Solid Sock Yarn in this pattern and buying 1 ball for each colour will be sufficent for creating 1 pair of socks but is very likely able to make 2 pairs of these socks.
