PDF Crochet pattern for the fluffy, in-between-winter-and-spring-friendly “Lazy Eye T-shirt”. Pattern includes sizes S-4XL. It features a straight, slightly cropped body with half length sleeves and beautiful faux knit cuffs and collar. This pattern uses moss stitch and yarn over slip stitch inthe third loop. While this is not a beginner pattern, if you are comfortable reading written instructions and with the stitches used, it’s simple enough for your first sweater.

Tutorial for the “yarn over slip stitch in the third loop” can be found in the IGTV-section of my instagram @honsedesign

This pattern is made with a 5 and 6 mm hook, and is made with three strands held together, one strand of 4 ply (740-1250 meters depending on size), and two strands of mohair lace weight (1480-2500 meters depending on size)

Yarns I used: 4ply - Permin “Esther”, Lace - Permin “Angel”

Width measurements from armpit to armpit:
S - 46 cm/18 in
M - 51 cm/20 in
L - 56 cm/22 in
XL - 61 cm/24 in
2XL - 66 cm/26 in
3XL - 71 cm/28 in
4XL - 76 cm/30 in

It is a written pattern with step by step instructions, no images for each step. It is in English and uses standard US terminology, with specifics given in both metric and imperial units.

In my early twenties I got a particularly nasty case of lyme disease that spread to my nervous system and wreaked havoc on my body and mental health. It took me about a year to recover fully, but the muscles in my right eye never regained strength and left me with a lazy eye. When it comes to appearances, I don’t mind that much - I think it adds character, but sight wise it’s a an annoyance. When I’m not wearing glasses I tend to close my right eye and look only with my left, something that requires the task at hand to be simple, straight forward and repetitive. Which ended up as this sweater - it’s so no-nonsense I can do it with 50% of my eyes closed.
