Le Cirque des Reves
This knitting chart is inspired by “The Night Circus,” a novel by Erin Morgenstern. Fans of the novel will recognize the black and white color scheme worn by members of Le Cirque des Reves, as well as the tiny dash of red meant to honor the Reveurs, those who follow the circus with special devotion.
Features of this chart include a striped circus tent with a red flag, star points scattered across the body of the chart, and the branches of the Wishing Tree stretching downward.
I am the original designer of this chart. The artwork is original and not copied from any particular source. While it was originally designed for a beanie or beret worked in the round, this chart is also suitable for flat-work projects such as shawls, sweaters, mittens, or scarves.
This pattern can be used with any needle size and any yarn weight. Please ignore any awkward sizing issues with the chart listing, as I am still new to using Ravelry’s form.
I’m not certain why the Chart Minder library link doesn’t actually show the chart, but the image here includes all of the row and stitch numbers needed to complete the pattern.
