The Lea Capelet is a poncho-style garment designed to be worn over a T-shirt or blouse for added warmth. It is worked seamlessly from the top down. The capelet begins with a double-layered neckline, with the option of inserting a thin elastic band. Raglan increases are worked next, followed by short-row shaping to create curved front and back sections. Finally, a decorative lace edging is worked along the hem.
