This knitting pattern is a Cowl which is in the design of different styles of leaves. It is knitted in 4 ply on a circular needle. I chose cream and variegated green/brown because they blend beautifully together to create this pretty cowl, although the choice of colours is up to you. There is a coloured rib which starts the pattern, which then takes you to the main body of the pattern and then finishing with the coloured rib. There is a clear colourful chart to show the Fair isle pattern.

Measurements
Finished size - when laid flat 28 cm (11”) x 17 cm (7”), (so 22” in the round) although by increasing the amount of repeats, you can make it longer. The yarn suggested will do several more repeats than stated in the pattern. Smaller size is in all photos.

Tension
Stocking Stitch: 28 sts x 36 rows – 10cm x 10cm/ 4”x 4 (Fair Isle can vary in tension, so please do a tension square, yes we all hate doing them )

Materials
The cowl is knitted in the round with a 60cm 3.25mm circular needle and a ball of solid Drops Fabel and a ball of a variegated Drops Fabel. This pattern I used Cream & Forest Long Print. (50g 205 m/224 yds) Any leftover yarn would be ideal for putting towards a sock project :) You will need a stitch marker and a sewing up needle to sew in the few ends.

The pattern can be altered to add width, just by adding extra repeats if needed.
