If you want to take a break from plain stockinette projects, try this Leaf Headband. It’s quick to knit, keeps your ears warm on days when a full hat is too much, and the leaf pattern looks much more complicated than it really is.

Also, it’s a great scrap yarn project - you’ll need less than one skein, so it’s perfect for using up leftover yarn from other projects. I explain every technique step by step, so even if you don’t have much experience with patterns like this, give it a try. I hope you’ll enjoy the result!

Construction: The headband is worked flat, then the edges are seamed together.
