Leafy is a stranded top-down beanie hat. This pattern looks equally good in dark-on-light colors.
Materials:

  • 25-30g (100-120m) of fingering-weight yarn for the main color, and 20-25 (80-100m) of contrasting color yarn.
  • circular needles; 2.5mm or whatever size you need to get the gauge. Gauge: - approximately 26 stitches and 38 rows = 10cm. If your gauge is significantly smaller, or if you want more room, or plan to line your hat, use larger needles. Size: The hat fits 55-56cm head circumference. The length is variable; you can knit it longer past the chart if you need to. The prototypes on photo measure 17 tall X 28 cm wide laying flat.
