♫ The Music ♫
My Lagan Love is a song set to a traditional Irish air. The second verse, often omitted by performers, speaks of Leamh-beag - believed to be a small village along the River Lagan.

These mittens are knit in the round from the cuff up. Increases are worked to form the thumb gusset and then thumb stitches are placed on waste yarn while the upper portion of the mitten is finished. The mitten top is bound off using a 3-needle bind off on the WS. Stitches are picked up at the gap above the thumb gusset and are worked along with the held stitches to create the thumb.

The mitten backs have slight design variations to accommodate the sizes. The palm and thumb for all sizes are worked in Stockinette stitch (knit every round).

These mittens match the Leamh Ard, Leamh Beag and Leamh Mor hats.

This pattern is charted only. Each mitten has its own chart.
