This beanie is the perfect project for beginner knitters. Designed for my Learn to Knit class, this simple rolled-edge beanie will provide a few hours of practice for the novice knitter! No purling and no casting off is required - only one ball of chunky wool and one set of circular needles.
Size
Fits up to medium-large adult head.
Yarn
100 metres of Bulky weight yarn (12-14 ply yarn) will be enough for the beanie and pom pom
Sample used: 1 x ball of Fiddlesticks Grange 14, 100g/ 106m in colourway Pearl
Suggested Needles
6.5mm 40cm circular needles
Gauge/tension
14 stitches per 10cm/4” in stocking stitch
