Learn to Knit Scarf
Couple this pattern with our Learn to Knit Hat 
and you’ve got choices for your beginning 
knitters. Worked in 5 sections: 12” garter, 12” 
stockinette with a purl ridge divider, 24” 2x2 rib, 
and then back to stockinette and garter.
Skill level: Beginner. 
Size: 8 inches wide by 72 inches long (excludes 
optional fringe). 
Gauge: 17 sts/19 rows = 4”/10 cm in stockinette 
stitch. 
Yarn: Worsted weight wool, 300 yards (11 wpi). 
Model used Brown Sheep Nature Spun Worsted.
