These are straightforward, classic men’s socks, worked from the top down with a reinforced heel flap, a band heel, and a deep gusset for best fit. In multiple sizes for all the men you love unconditionally. The pattern is written generally, for dpns, magic loop or two circulars—however you wish to work.

UPDATE:
Sadly, the gremlins have been at work, and there are two small issues with the pattern

  1. The Leg should end after Pattern Rnd 11 (11, 10, 10, 11), not 12 (12, 11, 11, 12) as stated.

  2. The setup round for the heel flap is off It should be, “Work 35 (34, 33, 32, 37) sts in patt as set, (sl 1, k1) 13 (14, 15, 16, 17) times, k1.” This does take you past the existing start of round, but that is deliberate to line up the instep patterning.
