The Lehto Mitts are a pair of fingerless mittens featuring the same nature-inspired lace panel as the Lehto Socks. The elegant motif flows along the back of the hand, adding a touch of texture while keeping the palms smooth and comfortable for everyday wear.
Knit from the cuff up, the mitts combine a classic construction with a practical, comfortable fit. The lace pattern is provided in both charted and written form, making the pattern accessible for different knitting preferences. The pattern includes instructions for 3 sizes.

YARN AND YARDAGE 100 (100, 100) g of Drops Fiesta (110 m / 50 g) or 150 (175, 200) m / 160 (190, 220) yards of any DK weight yarn.

NEEDLES 2.75 and 3.25 mm needles suitable for working small circumference in the round

GAUGE 12 sts x 16 rnds of stockinette = 5 x 5 cm / 2 x 2 inches after blocking

SIZES 1 (2, 3) = S (M, L)
Finished hand circumference is 16.5 (19, 21) cm / 6.5 (7.5, 8.25) inches. Choose a size that gives you 0–2 cm / 0–0.75 inches of negative ease.

A note about sizing: If you fall between sizes, changing your gauge is an easy way to fine-tune the fit. Feel free to experiment with different yarn weights and needle sizes to achieve the size that works best for you.

You can turn your Lehto Mitts into full mittens by simply continuing the lace a bit further and working some decreases at the end!
