Doesn’t lemon cake sound delicious? I love headwraps. They give extra warmth without making me feel as if I’m being trapped by the tight confines of a brainwave-restricting cap. The only problem is they’re usually on the floppy side and have a tendency to fall off. Particularly annoying is when they fall over my eyes while I’m trying to do yoga to get all grounded and whatnot. Blind downward dog is not usually what I’m going for. But I digress.

This pattern solves the floppiness problem. It’s knit with two types of yarn: one superwash merino (non-feltable) and one wool blend (feltable). After felting, the wool brim cinches lightly into place while the main body stays stretchy, giving your locks the breathing room they need. As a bonus, it doubles as a cowl when you’re tired of it sitting on your head.
