The beanie can be shaped to fit different head circumferences.

DOUBLE-POINTED NEEDLES AND CIRCULAR NEEDLE (40 cm / 16”) size 3.5 mm / US 4
CIRCULAR NEEDLE (40 cm / 16”) size 3.0 mm / US 2.5 - for the rib in edge

GAUGE
22 sts x 28 rows in stockinette stitch on a 3.5 mm needle = 10 x 10 cm / 4 x 4”. First knit a swatch and check the gauge. Adjust needle size if necessary.

YARN
Need of yarn ca. 175 m / 190 yards. Schachenmayr Extra Fine Merino 120, 50g=105m / 115 yards, totally 2 balls

SHORTCUT
The piece is worked in the round with circular needle, bottom up. Change to double pointed needles when necessary. Pattern available in English and Finnish.
