The Sassy Sneaker Socks Collection is designed after several requests from Si Sjo customers, who loved the sock designs but prefer to wear sneakers. They asked me to design a suitable pattern for ‘shorties’ with a low rise. First I couldn’t see why; in sneakers you can not see a nice textured knit at all, but the customers told me they particularly fancied a good texture, when
they got off their sneakers for a reason.

Si Sjo’s sneaker socks have a German short row heel (without holes! due to a special technique) and have a perfect fit.

Let’s Take a Loop is the third of three Sassy Sneaker Socks. All three pattern will available in an ebook as well.

YARN : I used doubleheld laceyarn for the green socks - that has 400 m on a skein of 50 gram.
The yellow socks were knitted with sockweight yarn - handdyed in my own atelier - 200 m on a 50 g skein.

There are a few skeins available in my Si Sjo Etsy shop - but any sockyarn with the same gauge and approximately 200 m on a skein of 50 gram will do.

Be sure, swatching before starting knitting the sockpattern is always a good practice.

YARNSUGGESTIONS: Manos del Uruguay Alegria, la Bien Aimee MCN light, Hedgehog Fibres Sock if you want to knit the socks with a single thread.

If you choose to knit with doubleheld lace yarn: Malabrigo Lace would be a suitable choice.

The pattern contains text and a lot of images; if you want to save ink & paper you might consider to print only the uneven pages.
