This pattern design was done in collaboration with my daughter, for her first baby/my first little grandson. The simple stitches and muted tones give a timeless and classic feel to this blanket. It works up quickly and is extremely beginner friendly, using only basic stitches. The pattern creates a fabric that is reversible with beautiful drape, is warm without being overly heavy (perfect for littles), and is isn’t overly holey like some crochet can be. If you have a little girl on the way instead of a little boy like we do, the colors could easily be switched up for a more feminine look, or even made using some lovely neutrals. Overall, it’s a wonderful blanket choice for any of the littlest of littles… heirloom worthy, cozy, soft, and of course made with love.

Pattern includes a link for a mesh stitch tutorial in case you are a visual learner, or maybe just need a little extra help or clarification.
