This is my first originally designed knitted anything. I wanted to make a guy’s hat that would actually fit a guy’s head! A reversible hat of wonderfully soft, warm, slouchy, squishy goodness with a little extra built in via German short row shaping to cover the ears and neck from chilly winds. A simple, subtle pattern stitch in the body of the hat gives additional visual interest as well as a stretchy, slightly denser fabric.
