This tapered cowl is worked entirely in the Hourglass Eyelet stitch pattern, with shaping in pattern.
The cowl is wide at the bottom to cover more open sweater necklines, but narrow enough at the top to stay put when pulled up in front of your face. It is also long enough to keep that sweater neckline covered while simultaneously covering your nose.

Note: This pattern uses running stitch markers. You could use removable stitch markers instead, but this is the method that works best with the decreases in this pattern. There is a great vide on how to use them here.
