We just can’t get enough of this deliciously squishy waffle texture!

The instructions include so many options across 5 sizes: fingering-weight or DK-weight, cuff-down or toe-up, Flap and Gusset or Shadow Wrap heel, ankle or crew socks.

SIZES
Extra-Small (Small, Medium, Large, Extra-Large)/XS (S, M, L, XL) to fit actual foot circumference 6 (7, 8, 9, 10)”/15.2 (17.8, 20.3, 22.9, 25.4) cm, measured around the ball of the foot (the widest part). Negative ease is built in to the pattern. The length and height are adjustable. If you find that you are in-between sizes, my test knitters found that choosing the smaller size was a better fit due to the stretchiness of the waffle stitch pattern.

YARN
Recommended in a blend of wool (for warmth) and nylon (for added strength and durability), based on crew-length leg (will require approximately 30% less yardage for ankle socks).
Fingering-weight version: Approximately 260 (295, 330, 365, 400) yards/ 238 (270, 302, 334, 366) meters fingering-weight sock yarn
DK-weight version: Approximately 220 (240, 260, 300, 320) yards/201 (220, 238, 274, 293) meters DK weight yarn (or two strands of fingering-weight sock yarn held together with double the yardage)
Samples shown in Hobbii Unicorn Solid in Sea Foam and Knit Picks Hawthorne DK bare yarn.
