This stitch pattern reminded me of torches, hence the name of these socks. Since only one color is used at a time, the stitch pattern is not difficult. Cable stitches mixed in with the slipped stitches make for an interesting knit. Worked toe-up with a round toe and afterthought heels, these socks are a great use of slightly variegated yarns that contrast well with each other.
