Liito socks are full of lace, combining two (or more) colors. They were designed as a complementary pattern to previous 2 pairs from Summer Sock KAL 2026 – Aino and Kylli socks and they are using the yarn leftovers from both patterns (however you can use any other yarns obviously).
They are knitted toe-up, they have a nice fit thanks to gussets and short-row heel. Lace motifs are joyful and easy to memorize. These socks are perfect for different yarns leftovers, there are no limits to your imagination :)

One size - ideal for foot circumference of 20,5–21 cm. For other sizes I recommend to change the gauge. Foot and leg length are adjustable.

Gauge: 30 sts in 10 cm of stockinette stitch with 2,5 mm needles

Needles: the socks are worked on circular needles: 2,5 mm needles for the main part of the sock (choose the needle size that gets you close to the gauge or the size you want.), 2,25 mm needles (or smaller needles) for the cuff.

Yarn: any fingering weight or 4ply sock yarn, the original pair is knitted with Kalevalanka sock (colors Nuppu and Suklaa).

Yardage: approximately 140 m from each color

Notions: stitch markers, sewing needle for weaving in ends, sock blockers if you wish.
