Lillet is a simple pullover that was so soothing and comfy that I had to make one more after I finished the first.

My initial knit was a sweatshirt-y pullover, with an everyday fit and a wide neckline, knit in Julie Asselin’s gorgeous Nurtured yarn. It’s long and slouchy, with a little shaping for a curved back hem.

The second is a more cropped, boxy shape - with a bit of lace at transition from body to hem. I used Julie’s Leizu Worsted for this dressier version, and the subtle shifts in color and drape of the yarn are just perfect for a swingy little number that makes a fun statement. (and an excuse to buy some cool high waist pants!)

Both feature a simple but lovely lace collar, raglan shaping, and seamless construction. Collar/neckline in both versions and lower back in the Nurtured version are shaped with short rows.

Pattern contains instructions for working either version, and lots of notes on modifying length, width or adjusting either neckline or back shaping. See the test knits for some of the ways my testers adapted the pattern!

Lillet is knit seamlessly, using classic top down construction. Lace is both charted and written.
