After designing my Locklace Sweater I still had some of the beautiful yarn left over. I decided to design a cowl that can be worn with the sweater or would be lovely on its own as I do not like to waste yarn. You can either use one, two or multiple colours left over from a previous project. Alternate colour strands to create different colour combinations. The three petals reminded me of the three petaled Mariposa Lily and the cowl became the Lily Lace Cowl in honour of both the lily and the Locklace Sweater that inspired it.

Sizing: One size fits all

Gauge: Gauge is not important but to obtain the same measurements as the sample, each 5-row patt rep measures 3cm in height and each 8 st patt rep measures 4cm in width

Materials: ±120gr lace weight yarn (100gr/640m); 5mm hook
